About this scholarship
Maryland residents enrolled at Maryland postsecondary institutions who are children, stepchildren, or surviving spouses of eligible deceased or disabled military service members, veterans with 25% or greater service-connected disability, public safety employees, or September 11 victims may apply through MHEC.
Awards are capped at up to $14,086 per year toward tuition and mandatory fees. Eligible enrollment includes degree-seeking undergraduate, graduate, or professional programs and certain certificate programs at Maryland institutions.
