High school seniors who are national winners in Quill and Scroll contests (Yearbook Excellence, International Writing/Photo/Multimedia, or Eye on Ivy Editorial Writing) and plan to major in journalism or related communications may apply for the Edward J. Nell Memorial Scholarships in Journalism.

Award amounts vary and support freshman year only. Applications require two recommendation letters, a personal statement, and three work samples.
