About this scholarship
Calgary Board of Education grade 12 students completing their diploma at a CBE school, with all senior high education in a CBE school and a minimum 75% GPA in Grades 11 and 12, who demonstrate volunteerism, citizenship, and leadership may apply for the EducationMatters Future Leaders Award.
One $1,000 award.
Submit an original essay of about 500 words on leadership and one reference from a school official, employer, or community leader. Apply through the EducationMatters Student Award Application Portal.

- Evidence of volunteerism, positive citizenship, and leadership through non-academic activities in grades 10, 11, and 12
- Minimum 75% GPA in grades 11 and 12
