About this scholarship

Massachusetts high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and Massachusetts residents, graduating from a state-accredited high school, with demonstrated financial need and a record of perseverance overcoming adversity may apply. Applicants must be accepted into an accredited bachelor's, associate's, or professional or trade certification program.

Awards come from a $50,000 annual fund distributed among multiple finalists and may be renewable for up to four years or program completion. Funds may cover tuition, room and board, books, and other approved educational supplies. Submit a 500 to 750 word personal statement on challenges overcome, educational and career goals, and how the award would help; two recommendations; proof of acceptance; and financial documentation such as FAFSA. Continued funding depends on satisfactory academic progress.
