About this scholarship

Western Washington high school seniors who have lived west of the Cascades for their last two years of high school and are entering a private, nonprofit four-year U.S. college may apply for the Edmund F. Maxwell Scholarship.

The award is $5,000 per year and renewable for up to four years with an annual renewal application. An SAT of 1200 or higher or ACT of 26 or higher is optional but recommended.

Submit the online application with an essay of up to 500 words, activities list, and transcript by May 29, 2026.
