Graduate students in Kentucky pursuing public service degrees such as public administration, teaching, public health, or social work may apply.
The non-renewable award is at least $1,000. Applicants need an excellent academic record, demonstrated financial need, and intent to continue public service work in Kentucky.
The scholarship honors Edith Schwab, attorney and Deputy Director of the Legislative Research Commission.
