About this scholarship
Citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Pacific nations, Southeast Asia, South Asia, or East Asia may apply for master's or doctoral funding at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa while participating in East-West Center programs. A bachelor's degree with at least a 3.0 GPA is required.
The fellowship covers full tuition and fees at UHM, housing at an East-West Center dormitory, and partial support for meals, health insurance, and incidental expenses. Fellows join leadership development, cultural exchange, and community activities while building an Asia-Pacific network.
Apply for UHM graduate admission and complete the East-West Center fellowship application with transcripts, recommendations, and personal statements demonstrating regional interest.
