About this scholarship

African American high school seniors who reside in the East Kings County Alumnae Chapter service areas of eastern Brooklyn and plan to enroll at a four-year college or university may apply.

The chapter awards a $2,500 last-dollar scholarship recognizing academic achievement. Selection weighs outstanding academic performance and commitment to higher education.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority's East Kings County Alumnae Chapter has provided scholarships to college-bound seniors in its service area since its charter in 2007.
