About this scholarship

Graduating seniors from Youth Spirit Artworks in Berkeley, Oakland Tech High School, or McClymonds High School, or eligible YSA alumni who have not started a four-year college, may apply if they have at least a 2.5 GPA and qualify for federal free or reduced-price lunch.

Awards are up to $5,000 for two-year colleges or up to $8,000 for four-year colleges, with up to three new scholarships granted each year. Scholars in good standing may reapply to renew their awards.

Apply through the East Bay Community Foundation's SurveyMonkey Apply portal. The program encourages scholars to use academic and cultural support services at their college.
