About this scholarship
Incoming Earlham College first-year students who apply by Early Action or Early Decision and are curious about Quaker values may apply for the Quaker Fellows Scholarship.
Selected fellows receive a $2,500 annual renewable scholarship plus an enhanced financial aid package for up to four years. Fellows commit roughly 50 hours per semester to spirituality, community, and leadership programming.
The program seeks students serious about sharing community, living a life grounded in the Spirit, and being leaders at Earlham and beyond.
Essay questions
What else to submit
- Quaker Fellows application essays: approximately 300–500 words each, addressing at least two questions from each of the Community, Leadership, and Spirituality focus areas
- Essay explaining why the applicant wants to join the Quaker Fellows program
- Apply to Earlham by the Early Action or Early Decision deadline, be accepted, and enroll as part of the fall entering class
- Each essay response should be approximately 300-500 words
- Address at least two questions from each focus area (Community, Leadership, Spirituality)
- Finalists are invited to participate in Scholarship Day for an interview
