About this scholarship
Domestic first-year students applying to the University of Oregon with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and demonstrated financial need may apply for the Duck Excellence Scholarship, a renewable tuition-remission award of $7,500 per year split across fall, winter, and spring terms.
Apply for admission by January 15, complete the scholarship application and reference letter in the UO Scholarship Dashboard by February 2, and file the FAFSA (or ORSAA for eligible Dreamer students) by February 2. Recipients must enroll in at least 12 credits per term and maintain a 3.0 UO GPA.
The scholarship recognizes academic achievement and students whose perspectives enrich the university community.
