About this scholarship
Georgia high school graduates and legal residents with at least a 2.5 GPA, ACT or SAT scores at or above the national average, and demonstrated participation in an organized junior golf program may apply for the Wayne Reynolds Scholarship from the Druid Hills Golf Club Foundation.
Renewable grants of $3,000 per year for up to four years support tuition and housing at accredited colleges. The number of grants awarded each cycle is set by the committee.
Submit proof of GPA and test scores, evidence of junior golf participation, financial aid documentation, a personal goals statement, and references. Finalists attend an interview. Applications must be postmarked by May 15. Relatives of Scholarship Committee members are ineligible.

- Two personal references from high-school teachers or principals
- Must be a graduate of a public or private Georgia high school and a legal resident of Georgia
- Accepted at a two- or four-year accredited college/university as a full-time student
- At least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and an ACT or SAT score at or above the national average
- Demonstrated athletic ability via successful participation in an organized junior golf program
- Demonstrate financial need (indicate family annual income bracket; finalists provide last year's tax return)
- Registered with Selective Service, as required
- High school transcript (and/or college transcript) with cumulative GPA, class rank, class size, ACT/SAT scores and test date, sent by the school
- High School (and College, if applicable) Extracurricular Activities section, provided on a separate attached sheet
- Letter from a golf program, coach, or golf professional certifying successful participation
- Two personal references from high school teachers or principals
- Interview with the Scholarship Committee if selected as a finalist
- Mailed application postmarked on or before Friday, April 11
- Personal goals statement.
- Finalists attend an interview.
- Renewal requires continuing eligibility; grants may continue up to four years.
