About this scholarship
Open to outstanding graduate students in the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Preference is given to students whose research focuses on pharmacokinetics.
Scholarships totalling $3,500 are made available annually through an endowment from Dr. Fakhreddin Jamali (M.Sc. 1973, Ph.D. 1977) in memory of Dr. Elaheh Jamali (1945-2020); per-recipient amounts vary by cycle.
There is no separate student application. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
Dr. Fakhreddin Jamali is professor emeritus at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and founding President of the Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences.
