Dr. S.L. Fransman Prize in Diagnostic Radiology

For a Queen's University student completing the fourth medical year who is entering a residency program specializing in Diagnostic Radiology. Preference is given to students with an expressed or proven interest in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

One prize is awarded annually. The amount varies. The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences selects the recipient.

Established in April 2002 by Dr. S.L. Fransman and Mrs. Bertha Fransman to recognize Dr. Fransman's contribution to the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.
