Dr. Roderick A. Scofield Scholarship in Meteorology

Undergraduate meteorology students entering junior year or higher, or graduate students in meteorology or a related field, who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents at accredited U.S. colleges may apply for the Dr. Roderick A. Scofield Scholarship in Meteorology from the Northwest Alaskan Foundation.

One recipient may receive up to $1,000 per year toward qualified education expenses such as tuition, fees, books, and supplies. Past recipients are ineligible. Applicants must have at least one semester remaining after the award is granted.

Submit transcripts, an activities list, an essay, and two recommendations by the deadline. The scholarship is funded by Mrs. Joyce Scofield and family in memory of Dr. Roderick Scofield (1942-2006).
