About this scholarship
Open to nurses engaged in or planning to enter orthopedic surgical nursing who will benefit the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, other healthcare institutions, or healthcare programs in northwestern Alberta. Applicants must fulfill an identified healthcare occupational need in the region, have at least one year of study at an accredited college or university, and demonstrate commitment, high performance, and growth potential.
One or more bursaries are awarded; the amount varies. Priority goes to nurses in orthopedic surgical nursing fields benefiting regional hospitals and healthcare providers.
Apply with a cover letter, resume, two letters of reference, curriculum or course outline, supporting grades, and a detailed budget showing financial need. Recipients may sign a one-year return-for-service agreement with Alberta Health Services.
