About this scholarship
Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at accredited two- or four-year colleges or universities in Colorado who demonstrate academic excellence in geospatial technologies may apply for the Dr. Pete Magee Memorial Scholarship from GIS Colorado.
Four $1,500 scholarships are awarded annually. Recipients also receive a one-year GIS Colorado membership, and conference registration is covered if they present their winning project at GIS in the Rockies.
Submit an online application, transcript, a project graphic (map, poster, or similar), a one-page essay, and two letters of recommendation. The scholarship recognizes excellence in GIS, remote sensing, GPS, and related disciplines.
