Dr. Norma Jean Murphy Memorial Scholarship in Nursing

Outstanding graduate students in the UBC Vancouver School of Nursing with a focus on nursing research may be nominated for this scholarship.

Awards totalling $2,000 are available annually through a gift from the estate of Dr. Norma Jean Murphy. No separate application is required; the School of Nursing makes recommendations in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Dr. Murphy earned her Bachelor in Nursing from Dalhousie University and served as a tenured professor there for three decades before completing her Ph.D. at the University of South Australia.
