Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarships

U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents pursuing master's or doctoral degrees in oceanography, marine biology, maritime archaeology, and related marine sciences may apply for Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarships.

Yearly support is up to $47,000 (stipend plus education allowance), plus up to $10,000 for a NOAA facility collaboration. Master's students may be supported up to two years and doctoral students up to four. Approximately two to four awards are given annually.
