Dr. Moyra Allen Nursing Academic Grant

For a graduate student enrolled in McMaster's School of Nursing who self-identifies as a member of an equity-deserving group and who demonstrates academic and research excellence and financial need.

The grant is $1,800. Awarded by the School of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the School of Nursing. Apply via AwardSpring during the academic grants window.

Established in 2023 by the Wilson family to honour Dr. Moyra Allen, who received an honorary doctorate from McMaster in 1984 and was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1987 for leadership in nursing and health care.
