Dr. Len Parent Computer Studies Award

Open to a returning Mount Saint Vincent University student in their first or second year who demonstrated outstanding performance in CMPS 1155 (Introduction to Computer Programming I). In case of a tie, performance in other introductory courses may be considered.

One award is given annually; the amount varies.

The award was established by faculty in the Mathematics and Computer Studies Department in memory of Dr. Len Parent, a former mathematics professor who helped set up the computer science program at the Mount.
