About this scholarship
Full-time undergraduate students (including high school seniors through age 25) enrolled or accepted at accredited U.S. two- or four-year institutions with demonstrated financial need and at least one parent of Hispanic ancestry may apply. Non-U.S. citizens including DACA students are eligible.
A one-time award of up to $1,000 supports undergraduate study. Recipients also receive complimentary registration to the USHLI National Conference including airfare and lodging.
Submit two essays (500 to 1,000 words each), a resume, unofficial transcript, portrait photo, and two letters of recommendation. The United States Hispanic Leadership Institute honors Dr. Juan Andrade Jr.'s spirit of servant leadership.
