About this scholarship
For a Faculty of Health Sciences graduate student engaged in medical research who demonstrates financial need as well as good citizenship, social responsibility, and leadership. Preference, in descending order: the Michael G. DeGroote Institute for Infectious Disease Research; the Farncombe Family Digestive Health Research Institute; and the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Ontario Graduate Scholarship recipients are not eligible.
The bursary is $2,500. Awarded annually by the School of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the Associate Dean, Health Sciences (Graduate).
Established in 2011 by the Harshman Fellowships Society in honour of Dr. Jordan Page Harshman, past President of the Society.
