Dr. Joan L. Bottorff Graduate Scholarship in Nursing

Students entering first year of the Ph.D. in Nursing program in the School of Nursing at UBC Okanagan who hold Registered Nurse designation may be considered for the Dr. Joan L. Bottorff Graduate Scholarship in Nursing.

Scholarships totalling $3,500 are available through an endowment. Ordinarily, one student receives the award each year.

The scholarship is made on the recommendation of the School of Nursing. There is no separate student application.

Dr. Joan Bottorff, a Professor of Nursing at UBC for over 30 years, contributed extensively to nursing research and graduate mentoring and served as Director of the Institute for Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention.
