About this scholarship
Thesis-based MSc or PhD students at Laurentian University working in ore-deposit geology, preferably the metallogenesis of magmatic-hydrothermal or hydrothermal ore deposits, may apply. Selection is based on academic excellence and financial need. If no suitable candidate is available in a given year, funds are reinvested in the endowment.
Value varies. Submit a completed application to the Faculty of Graduate Studies by February 15 (electronically to graduatestudies@laurentian.ca with the subject line "Dr. Jeremy P. Richards Memorial Scholarship"). Applicants are notified by April 1.
Established by family, friends, students, and colleagues to recognize Professor Jeremy P. Richards's contributions to magmatic-hydrothermal and hydrothermal ore-deposit geology at Laurentian's Harquail School of Earth Sciences.
