About this scholarship
Students in any year of the Southern Medical Program at UBC Okanagan may be considered for this scholarship. Preference is given to students with a record of community service in health care.
Scholarship amounts vary; scholarships totalling $2,000 are funded through an endowment by the B.C. Medical Association and the B.C. Medical Foundation. Recipients are chosen on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine, and there is no separate application.
The scholarships honour Dr. Gary Randhawa and his lifelong work furthering health education and health promotion in local communities.
