Dr. Don Goellnicht PhD Memorial Award

For a PhD student in McMaster's Department of English and Cultural Studies, awarded on academic and/or research excellence. Priority is given to students nearing completion of their PhD dissertation.

The award is $2,500. Awarded by the School of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the department. Apply through McMaster AwardSpring.

Established in 2020 in memory of Don Goellnicht by friends and colleagues. Goellnicht completed his MA and PhD at McMaster and served as faculty in English and Cultural Studies from 1984.
