Dr. David C. Wu Award in Materials Engineering

Bachelor of Applied Science students at UBC Vancouver specializing in Materials Engineering who have good academic standing may be nominated for these awards. Preference goes to students who have demonstrated leadership through research, student teams, student government, or enhancing the overall student experience.

Awards of varying amounts come from an endowment established by David Wu (B.A.Sc. 1979, M.A.Sc., Ph.D., M.B.A.), who spent over thirty years in the aerospace industry. No separate application is required; the Department of Materials Engineering makes recommendations.
