Dr. Clifford J. Anastasiou Scholarship in Education

For outstanding Bachelor of Education students at UBC who have successfully completed at least one practicum in the B.Ed. program and completed at least two upper-level courses in Math, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology.

Scholarships totalling $4,600 are available through an endowment established in memory of Dr. Clifford J. Kip Anastasiou (1929-2018) by his wife Joan D. Anastasiou. Awards are made on Faculty of Education recommendation.

There is no separate application.

Dr. Kip taught high school science before earning a Ph.D. in Botany and served as a UBC faculty member in Mathematics and Science Education from 1962 to 1994.
