About this scholarship
Students pursuing or entering NAACLS-accredited medical laboratory programs (MLA, MLT, MLS, HTL, CT, or PBT) who are from medically underserved and/or rural areas may apply for the Dr. Alvin Ring Empowerment Scholarship for Laboratory Professionals through the ASCP Foundation.
Twenty awards of up to $5,000 are granted annually. Funds may cover certification fees, tuition, or needs-based academic expenses. Applicants must be U.S. citizens in good academic standing with a commitment to the laboratory profession.
Submit the online application with reference letters, proof of enrollment, and a personal statement outlining career goals. Applications open April 1 and close May 31.
