Dorothy Somerset Scholarship in Theatre

For a third- or fourth-year student in the University of Victoria Department of Theatre who displays outstanding talent and devotion to any branch of theatre work, as determined by the department.

The Dorothy Somerset Scholarship in Theatre provides financial support; the award amount varies. One scholarship is available.

A third-year recipient must use the award to complete fourth-year studies in the UVic Theatre Department. A fourth-year recipient may use it to pursue further study at a recognized theatre school such as the National Theatre School or the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

The scholarship was made available by Miss Rivkah Isaacs of Victoria.
