Dorothy Margaret Covello Memorial Award in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Outstanding domestic students entering the first year of the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program at UBC Vancouver who demonstrate participation in extracurricular activities may be nominated for this award. Preference goes to students entering from a high school in Northern BC or from a rural area in BC.

Awards totalling $5,900 come from The Covello Family Charitable Fund in memory of Dorothy Margaret Covello (née Smithers). No separate application is required; the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences makes recommendations.

Dorothy completed her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at UBC in 1953 after graduating from high school in Prince George.
