Dorothy Cleland Memorial NSDAR Scholarship

Winnebago County, Illinois graduating seniors with strong academic performance and leadership may apply through the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois universal scholarship application between December 1 and February 1 to be matched to the Dorothy Cleland Memorial NSDAR Scholarship.

Award amount varies. Applicants must demonstrate financial need (an EFC of no more than $10,000), outstanding leadership, dependability, and citizenship. Academic performance receives high priority in selection.

Recipients are announced in late April. Awards are sent directly to the recipient's post-secondary institution. The fund honors Dorothy Cleland through the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
