Doreen Brisbin Award

Female students entering Year Four of an Honours program in which women are currently underrepresented at the University of Waterloo may apply. Preference goes to students in the Faculty of Science studying Physics and/or Chemistry; other eligible programs include Engineering, most Mathematics programs, and Economics. Selection considers academic standing and a sincere interest in and commitment to your field of study.

One award valued up to $1,000 is presented annually. Interested third-year female students should apply by March 15.

The fund honors Dr. Doreen Brisbin, a former Chemistry professor and Honorary Member of the University.
