About this scholarship
Ohio college students majoring in parks and law enforcement with at least 30 credit hours (12 in the major), a 3.0 GPA in the major, and a 2.5 cumulative GPA may apply for the Don Schmidt Scholarship through the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association Foundation.
One $1,000 award is granted annually. Selection weighs your resume, professional references, and essay. Funds apply to tuition only and are sent directly to the university bursar.
Applicants must have a declared major in a relevant degree program at an Ohio college or university, or be an Ohio resident. Graduate students need at least 9 credit hours in their major.
