Don Carpenter IEEE Scholarship

UBC Electrical Engineering students with good academic standing who propose to specialize in electronics.

One or two scholarships totalling $2,850.

No separate student application. Awards are made on faculty recommendation.

The scholarships were endowed by a bequest from Clara Laverne Carpenter to honour her husband, Don Carpenter, and his connection with the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers, including as one of the original members of the old IRE group in Vancouver.
