About this scholarship

High school seniors or current college or trade-school students who are survivors of a life-threatening illness may apply for the Dreaming of Three Scholarship. Applicants need at least a 3.25 unweighted GPA and a record of community service. Prior recipients are ineligible.

Three recipients are selected each year for scholarship awards. The program provides merit-based support to deserving survivors pursuing higher education.

Submit physician documentation, two teacher recommendations, a transcript, and a personal essay. Applications open March 1 and close April 30. Dreaming of Three is a nonprofit group of equestrians who support children fighting life-threatening diseases through their Rodeo Kids program.
