About this scholarship

Montgomery County, Ohio high school seniors graduating from participating schools with at least a 2.75 GPA who are Pell Grant-eligible and plan full-time enrollment at an accredited college or university may apply for the Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program.

Renewable awards are up to $5,000 for four-year programs, $500 for community college, or $3,500 when transferring from community college to a four-year school. Deadlines vary by participating school.

Students apply online through their school counselor. Established in 1981, the program helps local students pursue higher education based on academic achievement and financial need.
