About this scholarship
Undergraduate and graduate students in the UBC Dietetics program completing out-of-town practicum placements in rural and Indigenous communities may be considered. Eligible students include those in the Dietetics Major within the Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Health and those in the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics program.
Awards from alumni and friends are available to help offset relocation costs.
Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. For graduate students, the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is consulted. There is no separate student application.
