About this scholarship
Undergraduate and graduate architecture students and interns enrolled in architecture programs in Illinois or Northwest Indiana may apply for the Dick Lauber Masonry Scholarship sponsored by the Masonry Advisory Council.
One $1,000 unrestricted first-place award is granted.
Applicants submit conceptual perspective drawings or architectural renderings to scale (minimum of two elevations) in the Recreation category (for example restaurants, brewery, or theater), incorporating masonry components such as block, brick, stone, or a combination. Bonus points are given for interior masonry. Include a short statement describing the design and its intended use, plus contact information, and email the submission. Entries are judged by local architects.
