About this scholarship
Undergraduate First Nations, Inuit, or Metis students of Canada in the UBC Faculty of Forestry with good academic standing may be nominated for this award.
Awards totaling $3,750 are available annually through a gift from Diamond Head Consulting. Preference goes to students in Urban Forestry, Natural Resources Conservation, Forest Sciences, or Forestry degree programs. The per-recipient amount varies by year.
Recipients are selected on faculty recommendation. There is no separate student application.
Diamond Head Consulting, a Vancouver-based environmental consulting firm founded by two UBC alumni, established this award to support Indigenous students studying forestry and environmental management.
