Devon Lord Brooks First Year Athletic Award

For incoming undergraduate students who have an offer of admission to Toronto Metropolitan University, are Ontario residents and Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, are active eligible members of a TMU BOLD team competing in OUA and/or U Sports, demonstrate financial need, and achieved a minimum 80% overall average in the final year of high school.

Created by Michael and Cheryl in memory of Devon Lord Brooks, a student-athlete who passed away at 27. The Athletics and Recreation Department describes it as its most prestigious first-year athletic recognition for academic achievement, athletic ability, and community service.
