Devon Lord Brooks Athletic Award - Returning Students

Given to select returning Toronto Metropolitan University athletes in recognition of academic achievement, athletic ability, and service to the community. This is among the most prestigious recognitions from the Athletics and Recreation Department.

Devon Lord Brooks was a student-athlete who died unexpectedly at 27. She was a competitive national-level figure skater and power cheerleader, and later a wakeboarder, gymnast, snowboarder, and outdoorswoman. Her parents, Michael and Cheryl, created the award to celebrate excellence in body, mind, and spirit.
