Department of Mathematics Awards

Full-time Toronto Metropolitan University undergraduates in their third or fourth year with a declared major in a Department of Mathematics program who are in good academic standing and show strong enthusiasm for mathematics may apply.

One or more awards of $2,000 or more are granted annually. Enthusiasm may be shown through attendance at seminars and colloquia, participation in the Math Student Union, outreach volunteering, or pursuit of an honours degree.

Applications must include a recent transcript, a statement of interest in mathematics, and a letter of reference from a faculty member or other individual who can verify commitment to the subject.
