Department of Mathematical Sciences Academic Excellence Scholarships

Students entering the honours or specialization program in Mathematics or Statistics at the University of Alberta with superior academic achievement may apply for these entrance scholarships.

Up to six scholarships of $1,000 each are awarded annually. Recipients are selected on Grade 11 and/or Grade 12 final marks. Selection may also consider mathematical ability, performance in mathematics courses and competitions, published articles, and organization of mathematical activities.
