Delaware Educator Support Scholarship

Delaware residents enrolled full time in undergraduate or graduate programs at Delaware public or private colleges who intend to pursue teaching certifications in state-identified shortage areas may apply through the Delaware Higher Education Office.

Award amounts vary and are announced by July 1 each year. The award is not automatically renewable, but recipients may reapply annually.

A FAFSA is required. Shortage areas include special education, mathematics, science, world languages, and school counseling, though specific needs may change year to year.
