Delaware Educational Benefits for Children of Deceased Veterans and Others

Delaware residents ages 16 to 24 who are children of armed forces members who died from service-related causes, were prisoners of war, or are missing in action, or children of state police officers or Department of Transportation highway workers who died from job-related causes may apply through the Delaware Higher Education Office.

Awards cover full tuition and required fees at Delaware public colleges first, then private Delaware colleges, then out-of-state institutions if the program is unavailable in Delaware, for up to four years.

Applicants must have been Delaware residents for three or more consecutive years before applying.
