About this scholarship

Indigenous learners who self-identify as First Nations, Inuit, or Metis and are entering a McMaster DeGroote MBA program (full-time, co-op, accelerated, or blended learning part-time) may apply. Demonstrated engagement in your Indigenous community and heritage is expected.

Up to five awards per year cover full MBA tuition for the normal length of the degree, plus up to $15,000 per academic year for related expenses such as transportation, accommodations, meals, childcare, textbooks, and technology.

You need an offer of admission, completed Indigenous ancestry verification, a 1 to 2 page community involvement essay, a reference letter from a non-family member, and a budget template. Email materials to the DeGroote MBA admissions contact listed on the award page.
