About this scholarship

Full-time first-year students entering the University of Waterloo from a secondary school in the Region of Waterloo may apply for the Deer Ridge Entrance Award, worth up to $4,000.

Candidates must have lived in the Region of Waterloo for at least ten years and demonstrate good academic achievement, financial need, and community involvement. One award is available each year.

Apply through the Entrance Bursary form in the applicant portal. The Deer Ridge Charitable Foundation established this award to support youth from the Waterloo region.
