Death Valley '49ers Scholarships

Graduating high school seniors who live in the Death Valley region and whose parent or legal guardian has worked or volunteered within Death Valley National Park boundaries for at least two years may apply. Applicants must complete junior and senior years at Beatty, Pahrump Valley, Trona, Death Valley Academy, or an accredited online or home school within eligible district boundaries.

The program offers one or more four-year academic scholarships of $4,500 per academic year. Applications are due February 1 prior to graduation.

The Death Valley '49ers scholarship program supports families who serve the park and related organizations in the region.
